About the Role
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Cook to join our kitchen team in Los Angeles, CA. This is a temporary position ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in preparing high-quality food consistently.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies
- Ensure food is stored and handled safely, following health and sanitation guidelines
- Monitor food quality and portion control
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and workstations
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compensation & Schedule
This is a temporary position based in Los Angeles, CA, paying between $18.00 and $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.
